A note from Miss Faye...

Weat Brighton Academy believe that all children have unlimited potential. We understand that a child’s development needs nurturing in all aspects; physically, mentally and spiritually. We provide a wholesome environment, supportive teachers; encouragement coupled with leadership modeling and then watch our students blossom.

We feel Community involvement is an integral component of a student’s development. We encourage Entrepreneurial and real world experience by utilizing our community’s resources. Through our local businesses, our community college, our community theatre, international charities, the Grants Pass Growers Market, and the Rotary Club we give our students access to leadership opportunities. All of these components add up to a well rounded student with an impressive resume.

Our partnership with Rogue Community College is one of our most exciting programs. Once a student has a solid academic foundation and their self confidence is intact we extend the horizon for our students. We have developed a program with Rogue Community College that allows our students to earn an AA/OT (a 2 year university transferable college degree) concurrent with their high school diploma. We have found this program creates unbelievable motivation, gives our students a strong sense of accomplishment and allows them to ascertain ownership of their future. Students can participate in our college program as soon as they are ready, some as young as 7th grade.

At Brighton our number one objective is the student’s success in life, we want all our students to realize their full potential. Our program provides experiences beyond those of the normal school environment by taking our students off the sidelines and putting them in the “game.”

Warm Regards,
Faye Dawson
